Introduction to Menopause Yoga Workshop

Saturday, October 2, 2021, 9:30am -12:30pm

Menopause Yoga® is especially designed for women going through a stage of menopause to manage the array of symptoms experienced during this time of transition. Menopause Yoga® offers both a therapeutic and empowering approach to managing the physical, mental, and emotional ups and downs in peri-menopause, menopause, and post menopause.

In this 3 hour workshop, you will learn how to practice yoga poses, and simple breathing and meditative techniques that help to support and relieve common symptoms of menopause. At the end you will be given time for self-reflection and journaling, and the opportunity to discuss and share your experiences with one another over tea and nutritious treats.

Restoration and Relaxation: Restorative Yoga

This Evening Runs Monthly, Friday 7pm-9pm

Restorative Yoga can be a valuable tool for self-care, especially in challenging times. Restorative yoga helps to regulate the stress response and rebalance the nervous system, enhancing our capacity to heal.

This evening will not focus on stretching or strengthening, but on releasing tension in the body through long-held poses designed to support and comfort. In this deeply nourishing practice we will relearn the art of relaxation, and develop the ability to self soothe.

Back to Basics Yoga Workshop: Chaturanga

Chaturanga Dandasana– (or Low Plank) is an essential pose of vinyasa yoga, and is actually incredibly advanced and complex.

During a normal yoga class there’s simply not enough time to break down this pose as thoroughly as is needed, so this workshop has been devised to do just that. You will learn tools to help build strength in all the right places to enable you to integrate this posture into your practice with greater clarity and ease.
