Inversions and Arm Balances- Taking your practice upside down

Yoga inversion Workshop- Taking your practice upside down… and sideways!

In this workshop we will begin with a thorough warm up and spend time learning important aspects of crow, side crow, headstand, and more. We will also work on the more gentle classic inversions, such as child’s pose, downward dog, bridge pose, etc… You’ll have as much time as you need to work with the postures you feel most comfortable with, allowing you to build confidence so that you can incorporate the postures into your practice.

Relaxation and Restoration – An Evening of Restorative Yoga

“Tension is who you think you should be. Relaxation is who you are.”

We live in a very fast paced world. It has beecome the norm to spend day after day running around from one place to another, doing one thing after another… We spend so much of our time doing all the things we feel we “need” to do, and placing so much importance on “being busy”, we actually begin to live in a constant state of urgency. We begin to accumulate stress, tension, and anxiety. We forget how to breathe, how to relax, and most importantly, how to let go and enjoy life.

Friday March 15, 2019, 19:00-20:30 – £15 pp

Saluting the Moon – An Evening of Exploration of the Chandra Namaskar

“The moon teaches us that darkness can’t hide the beauty of life if we know how to reflect beauty.”

Saluting the Moon – An exploration of the calming, grounding practice of the moon salutations.

Moon Salutations, Chandra Namaskar is a powerful sequence focusing on hip-openers, circular movements, and spirals, and is the perfect sequence to practice for the upcoming full moon on the 21st! Prepare to embrace your inner-goddess!

Moon Salutations cultivate soothing lunar energy, finding new equilibrium in our stressful, fast-paced world. They are used to calm the mind and draw your awareness inward. Where the Sun Salutations are dynamic, more yang or masculine in nature, the Chandra Namaskar allows us to honour the yin, the more feminine side of our our energy. In this workshop we will break down each pose, slowly building up to the full flow of this calming, grounding, sequence. All levels welcome!

Relaxation and Restoration – An Evening of Restorative Yoga

“You have permission to rest. You are not responsible for fixing everything that is broken. You do not have to try and make everyone happy. For now, take time for you. It’s time to replenish.”
