“We’ve become strangers to nature. And the best way to live longer, healthier lives is to re-wild ourselves by returning to nature whenever we can.” – Daniel Vitalis

Support Hayle Park Nature Reserve by joining our morning of outdoor Yoga. Practicing yoga in nature is an incredible experience, and can deepen our connection to nature and to ourselves.

This outdoor session will be led by local yoga teacher, Shannon Hines-Clark. Shannon will be teaching a gentle flowing class, focusing on exploration of movement and breath awareness. Open to all abilities. Families welcome.

Nature reserves are vital havens to wildlife, and need our support. We are asking for a £10 donation (excluding children) to be made to the reserve.

We will be meeting at 10am at the Reserve’s Barn (Big White building) just off of Fieldfare Drive. At 10:15 am will make our way through the reserve to our outdoor yoga location. please wear comfortable shoes for the journey, and wear anything you feel comfortable practicing yoga in. If you like bring a yoga mat or towel, or if you prefer you can practice barefoot on the earth.

If you’re interested in taking part in Hayle Park’s “Yoga in the Reserve” please contact Shannon directly. You can book via the event ticketing link on FB, or bring cash on the day. 🙏

Relaxation and Restoration – An Evening of Restorative Yoga

“You have permission to rest. You are not responsible for fixing everything that is broken. You do not have to try and make everyone happy. For now, take time for you. It’s time to replenish.”

We live in a very fast paced world. It has beecome the norm to spend day after day running around from one place to another, doing one thing after another… We spend so much of our time doing all the things we feel we “need” to do, and placing so much importance on “being busy”, we actually begin to live in a constant state of urgency. We begin to accumulate stress, tension, and anxiety. We forget how to breathe, how to relax, and most importantly, how to let go and enjoy life.

**Please note, during Restorative yoga sessions, props, (including blankets, bolster, pillows, and blocks) will be used to support the body allowing deeper relaxation. These sessions are suitable for everyone. You are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing, and you may want to bring an extra blanket and small pillow.
